Supervisory Disclosure

In this section the Bank of Greece will display and provide access to information regarding the texts of laws, regulations, administrative rules and general guidance adopted in the field of prudential regulation and supervision in Greece.

The supervisory practice to be disclosed here will include the way in which Greece exercises the options and national discretions available in EU banking legislation and the general criteria and methodologies used by the Bank of Greece in the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP). In addition, this section will also display aggregate statistical data on key aspects of the implementation of the prudential framework in Greece.

The CEBS website will serve as a centralized electronic repository and will allow for quick and easy comparison of the approaches adopted by the competent supervisory authorities in different Member States. The websites of the other national competent authorities provide the exhaustive and detailed information required by the Capital Requirements Directive (CRD).
