Memoranda of Understanding that the Bank of Greece has signed with domestic supervisory authorities

The Bank of Greece has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hellenic Capital Market Commission in 1998. This MoU is currently under revision, to take into account the developments as a result of the implementation of Dir. 2004/39/EC (the MiFID) that has been transposed into law 3606/2007.
A Memorandum of Understanding for the cooperation with the new Private Insurance Supervisory Committee is under development.
Finally a Multilateral MoU for the cooperation of the Bank of Greece, the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, the Private Insurance Supervisory Committee and the Ministry of Economy and Finance on issues of Financial Stability is to be signed.
