Multilateral memoranda of Understanding that the Bank of Greece has signed with foreign authorities
The Bank of Greece has also signed the following multilateral MoUs:
- MoU on cooperation between Payment Systems Overseers and Banking Supervisors (2001).
- MoU on high level principles of cooperation between the Banking Supervisors and Central Banks of the European Union in crisis management situations (2003).
- MoU on cooperation between the Banking Supervisors, Central Banks and Finance Ministries of European Union in financial crisis situations (2005).
- MoU on cooperation between the financial supervisory authorities (banking, capital market and insurance companies’ supervisors), central banks and finance ministries of the European Union on cross-border financial stability (2008).
- MoU on high-level principles of cooperation and coordination among the Banking Supervisors of South Eastern Europe, signed by the Central Banks of Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, FYROM, Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, Romania and Serbia (2007).
Moreover, the Bank of Greece has entered into the multilateral cooperation and coordination agreement on the supervision of Credit Agricole Group.
