Disclosures to customers
Bank of Greece Governor's Act 2501/2002 lays down credit institutions’ disclosure requirements to retail customers with respect to terms and conditions governing banking transactions. The Bank of Greece, in order to help customers obtain information, has posted the following data on this page:
a) interest rates on deposits, consumer and housing loans and credit cards, commissions charged to customers on remittances, deposit account fees and annual credit card subscription fees;
b) the Register of persons intermediating on behalf of credit institutions in the provision of banking products and services, and of persons intermediating on behalf of credit institutions in the provision of investment services (tied agents); and
c) contact details of special units established by credit institutions and credit companies for reviewing customer complaints and reports.
