Main Tasks
The main tasks of the Security Department are to implement concrete security measures to safeguard the Bank’s interests. In particular, the Security Department is responsible for:
- the physical security and safety of the Bank’s management, staff and customers;
- the safekeeping and secure transport of cash and other valuables;
- guarding the Bank’s property;
- keeping watch over transaction areas to ensure order; and
- preventing and responding to emergency situations on the Bank’s premises.
The Security Department comprises the following Sections:
- Single Alarm Receiving Centre Operation and Monitoring Section
- Administration's Security Section
- Attica Premises Security Section
- Thessaloniki Premises Security Section
- Other Regional Premises Security, Cash Transports and Secretariat Section
- Emergency Planning Office
