Security Department

Main Tasks

The main tasks of the Security Department are to implement concrete security measures to safeguard the Bank’s interests. In particular, the Security Department is responsible for: 

  • the physical security and safety of  the Bank’s management, staff and customers;
  • the safekeeping and secure transport of cash and other valuables;
  • guarding the Bank’s property;
  • keeping watch over transaction areas to ensure order; and
  • preventing and responding to emergency situations on the Bank’s premises.

The Security Department comprises the following Sections:

  • Single Alarm Receiving Centre Operation and Monitoring Section 
  • Administration's Security Section
  • Attica Premises Security Section
  • Thessaloniki Premises Security Section
  • Other Regional Premises Security, Cash Transports and Secretariat Section
