External Debt  

The External Debt records the liabilities of Greece vis-à-vis other countries, broken down by sector of the economy (Monetary Authorities, General Government, Monetary Financial Institutions and Other Sectors), by type of financial instrument, and by the liabilities’ initial maturity (long-term and short-term).

External Debt does not include liabilities related to equity and Direct Investment.
