The Bank of Greece identifies, monitors and assesses systemic risks to financial stability across all sectors of the financial system, namely the banking sector, insurance undertakings, other financial institutions, as well as financial markets and infrastructures.
The Systemic Risk Heatmap, developed by the Bank of Greece for this purpose, serves to detect and rank systemic risks, tracking the evolution of potential vulnerabilities in the financial system over time.
