Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-February 2012

In January-February 2012, the central government cash deficit showed a surplus of 647 million euro, compared with a deficit of 1,171 million euro in the corresponding period of 2011. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 8,198 million euro, from 7,608 million euro last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 8,380 million euro from 8,572 million euro in January-February 2011.
