Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-October 2023

In January-October 2023, the central government cash balance recorded a surplus of €93 million, compared to a deficit of €6,399 million in the same period of 2022. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €50,714 million, compared to €44,948 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €47,811 million, from €48,965 million in January-October 2022.
