Petra Hielkema, Chairperson of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), visits the Bank of Greece

Today the Chairperson of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA), Petra Hielkema, visited the Bank of Greece.
Ms Hielkema met with Deputy Governor Christina Papaconstantinou and senior members of the Bank’s management. The main topics of discussion included private insurance issues, EIOPA’s priorities and the outlook of the Greek economy.
The head of EIOPA also met with staff of the Private Insurance Supervision Department of the Bank of Greece and discussed all current supervisory issues.
