Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January - September 2015

In January-September 2015, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €2,499 million, compared to a deficit of €2,213 million in the same period in 2014. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €31,463 million, compared to €34,459 million in the corresponding period of last year. Revenue of €55 million regarding Securities Markets Programme (SMP) income transfers from the Bank of Greece is excluded. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €33,832 million, from €36,447 million in January-September 2014.
