Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-June 2025

In January-June 2025, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €465 million, compared to a deficit of €1,558 million in the same period of 2024. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €32,550 million, compared to €29,999 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €31,605 million, from €29,117 million in January-June 2024.
