Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January - March 2011

In January-March 2011, the central government cash deficit decreased to 4,254 million euro, from 5,678 million euro in the corresponding period of 2010. During this period, ordinary budget revenue decreased to 11,184 million euro, from 11,766 million euro last year. Ordinary budget expenditure increased marginally to 15,048 million euro from 15,046 million euro in January-March 2010.
