Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January 2016

In January 2016, the central government cash balance recorded a surplus of €287 million, compared to a deficit of €217 million in January 2015. During this month, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €3,153 million, compared to €3,133 million last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €3,392 million, from €3,200 million in January 2015.
