Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis, January-July 2019

In January-July 2019, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €2,432 million, compared to a deficit of €2,335 million in the same period of 2018. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €25,871 million, compared to €26,623 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €29,870 million, from €29,298 million in January-July 2018.
