Notice of exercise of major voting right proportions pursuant to Law 3556/2007

Pursuant to Law 3556/2007, the Bank of Greece S.A. (issuer) hereby announces that the Public Company for Transferable Securities (DEKA) S.A., by the letter of the Chairman of its Board of Directors Mr. Loukas Papazoglou dated 15 April 2008, appointed Ms. Panagiota Spyroulopoulou, General Director of the General Accounting Office of the State (GAO), as representative to the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank of Greece to be held on 22 April 2008, and Mr. Christos Ntziounis, GAO Director, as her alternate.

DEKA S.A. holds 1,047,368 shares in the Bank of Greece, namely 6.59% of the share capital, corresponding to 13,964 voting rights.
