Central Government Net Borrowing Requirement on a cash basis: January-April 2010

In the January-April 2010 period the Central Government cash deficit (net balance of the state budget including movements in public debt management accounts) decreased to 7,705 million euros from 10,774 million euros in the corresponding period of 2009. During this period, the ordinary budget revenue increased to 15,069 million euros from 14,335 million euros last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 19,651 million euros compared with 21,958 million euros in January April 2009.
