Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-October 2025

In January-October 2025, the central government cash balance recorded a surplus of €3,922 million, compared to a surplus of €7,043 million in the same period of 2024. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €60,362 million, compared to €55,699 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €51,516 million, from €48,453 million in January-October 2024.
