Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January - February 2015

In January-February 2015, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €684 million, compared to a surplus of €139 million in the same period in 2014. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €6,735 million, compared to €7,950 million in the corresponding period of last year. Revenue of €55 million regarding Securities Markets Programme (SMP) income transfers from the Bank of Greece is excluded. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €7,677 million, from €8,630 million in January-February 2014.
