HDAT-Transition to settlement cycle T+2

The Bank of Greece, as manager of the Electronic Secondary Securities Market (HDAT), announces that from Monday, 6 October 2014, the settlement cycle for all trades executed on HDAT will be changed to T+2 (two business days after the execution of a trade) from the current T+3. The T+2 settlement cycle shall apply to all categories of HDAT tradable securities.
The decision to change the settlement cycle is in compliance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on improving securities settlement in the European Union and on Central Securities Depositories (Central Securities Depository Regulation-CSDR).
