Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-February 2022

In January-February 2022, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €1,363 million, compared to a deficit of €4,307 million in the same period of 2021. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €7,795 million, compared to €6,883 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €8,521 million, from €10,459 million in January-February 2021.
