The Bank of Greece, in order to provide accurate and timely information to investors and in particular to its shareholders and in compliance with the requirement under Articles 4.1.2 and 4.1.4.3.1 of the Athens Exchange Rulebook, hereby releases its Financial Calendar 2012:

The 2011 Annual Accounts and the relevant Press Release will be available on the websites of the Bank of Greece (www.bankofgreece.gr) and the Athens Exchange (www.ase.gr) after the close of trading on Monday, 19 March 2012 |

In the event of a dividend distribution, the following calendar shall apply:

It should be noted that, according to Article 19 of the Bank’s Statute, the Annual Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the Bank of Greece, acting on a recommendation from the General Council, has exclusive responsibility for the “approval of the Balance Sheet following the report of the Auditors; appropriations to reserve and other special funds; the fixing of dividends, and any other disposal of net profits”
