With a view to encouraging scientific research and exchange, the Bank of Greece has inaugurated a new publication series titled WORKING PAPERS. The series will include research by the Bank’s staff members and visiting scholars, focusing on issues related to the tasks of a national central bank. The aim of the WORKING PAPERS series will be to provide insights and analysis for policy formulation. The studies are available in printed format from the Secretariat of the Bank of Greece Economic Research Department and in electronic format from the Bank’s website Working Papers.
