Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-April 2012

In January-April 2012, the central government cash deficit decreased to 3,061 million euro, from 6,820 million euro in the corresponding period of 2011. During this period, ordinary budget revenue remained virtually unchanged and amounted to 14,720 million euro, from 14,717 million euro last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 18,479 million euro from 20,589 million euro in January-April 2011.
