Statistics on loans serviced by Credit Servicing Firms (CSFs): Q4 2021

-In the fourth quarter of 2021, the nominal value of loans to the domestic private sector serviced by domestic CSFs that have been transferred to non-resident specialised financial institutions increased by €7,538 million.
-The total value of the above category of loans increased to €79,738 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021, from €72,200 million in the previous quarter.
Corporate loans
The nominal value of serviced corporate loans increased to €32,026 million in the fourth quarter of 2021, from €29,114 million in the previous quarter. In further detail, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €2,916 million to €31,945 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of €16,311 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs decreased by €5 million to €80 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.
Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships
The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs increased by €1,171 million from the previous quarter to €11,675 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs increased by €3,454 million to €36,037 million at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021. In further detail, consumer loans serviced increased by €726 million to €16,070 million, while the corresponding housing loans increased by €2,729 million to €19,776 million.
