Statistics on loans serviced by Credit Servicing Firms (CSFs): Q3 2021

- In the third quarter of 2021, the nominal value of loans to the domestic private sector serviced by domestic CSFs that have been transferred to non-resident specialised financial institutions increased by €10,446 million.
- The total value of the above category of loans increased to €72,200 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021, from €61,754 million in the previous quarter.
Corporate loans
The nominal value of serviced corporate loans increased to €29,114 million in the third quarter of 2021, from €26,572 million in the previous quarter. In further detail, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) increased by €2,536 million to €29,029 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of €15,650 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs increased by €5 million to €85 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021.
Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships
The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs increased by €3,030 million from the previous quarter to €10,504 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs increased by €4,876 million to €32,583 million at the end of the third quarter of 2021. In further detail, consumer loans serviced increased by €1,500 million to €15,344 million, while the corresponding housing loans increased by €3,369 million to €17,047 million.
