ECB Annual Photography Award 2007 “Greece today”

in cooperation with the Bank of Greece

– Call for entries –

In 2004 the European Central Bank (ECB) launched an annual photography competition as part of its CULTURAL DAYS programme. It invites young photographers to present their vision of the country being featured in the competition. The winner of the first prize is awarded the “ECB Annual Photography Award”.

With this initiative, the ECB intends to build up a digital collection of photographic works which provides an insight into the photography from individual EU countries and combines to reflect EuropeΆs richness and cultural diversity, as seen through the eyes of young, emerging artists.

“Greece today” is the theme of the ECB Annual Photography Award 2007 as this yearΆs CULTURAL DAYS of the European Central Bank will be devoted to Greece and organised in close cooperation with the Bank of Greece.

Closing date for entries: 6 July 2007
