Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January - November 2018

In January-November 2018, the central government cash balance recorded a surplus of €193 million, compared to a deficit of €1,373 million in the same period of 2017. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €45,258 million, compared to €43,167 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure, including expenditure of about €2,875 million for the repayment of arrears (compared to €1,896 million last year), amounted to €44,870 million, from €46,222 million in January-November 2017.
