Publication of monthly aggregate loan statistics compiled on the basis of granular credit and credit risk data (AnaCredit)

The Bank of Greece proceeds with a pilot production and publication of new aggregate loan statistics based on the collection of granular credit and credit risk data in accordance with Governor's Act 2677/19.05.2017.
The publication will initially include the following new data categories:

1. Amounts of new loans broken down by branch of economic activity and enterprise size

Refers to amounts of new loans to domestic Non-Financial Corporations (NFCs), by economic activity and enterprise size, granted by domestic Credit Institutions (CIs) that participate in the reporting, in accordance with Governor's Act 2677/19.05.2017. 

2. Outstanding amounts of loans broken down by branch of economic activity, currency, original maturity and enterprise size

Refers to outstanding nominal amounts of loans to domestic NFCs, by economic activity, enterprise size, original maturity and currency category, granted by domestic Credit Institutions (CIs) that participate in the reporting, in accordance with Governor's Act 2677/19.05.2017.

3. Amounts and number of loans broken down by region

Refers to outstanding nominal amounts and number of accounts of loans and new loans to domestic NFCs by region, granted by domestic Credit Institutions (CIs) that participate in the collection, in accordance with Governor's Act 2677/19.05.2017.

The data is expected to be published within sixty (60) working days from the reference month.

The structure and the content of the tables may vary at a later stage.
