Bank of Greece “Note on the Greek Economy”

Henceforth, the Bank of Greece will publish in English the “Note on the Greek Economy”, with the aim to inform the broader public about the recent economic developments and prospects of the Greek economy.
This note is scheduled to be published prior to the Meetings of the Governing Council and the General Council of the European Central Bank.
The “Note on the Greek Economy” first presents an overview of recent economic developments as well as the new economic information made available over the reference period. It also presents the latest published macroeconomic projections of the Bank of Greece. Then, it provides background information on developments in economic activity, prices and real estate market, labour market, external balances and competitiveness, fiscal sector, money and credit, and financial markets. Finally, it provides additional charts and tables in the Annex.

The next “Note on the Greek Economy” is scheduled to be published on 15 March 2024.
