Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-August 2013

In January-August 2013, the central government cash balance showed a deficit of 9,041 million euro, compared to a deficit of 6,371 million euro in the same period in 2012. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 28,767 million euro, compared to 30,593 million euro in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to 38,824 million euro compared to 36,810 million euro in January-August 2012.
