The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Dr Yaga Venugopal Reddy, visits the Bank of Greece

Governor Yaga Venugopal Reddy of the Reserve Bank of India visited the Bank of Greece today. During his visit Governor Reddy met with Bank of Greece Governor Nicholas C. Garganas and other senior staff of the Bank of Greece.

Dr Reddy gave a lecture on “The Role of Monetary Policy in Attaining Growth with Stability: The Indian Experience”, which provided an in-depth analysis of the conduct of monetary policy in India, and its contribution to India’s impressive economic performance, which includes strong economic growth and the containment of inflation.
