Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January 2013

In January 2013, the central government cash balance showed a surplus of 392 million euro, compared to a surplus of 865 million euro in 2012. During the first month of 2013, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 4,299 million euro, from 5,077 million euro in January 2012. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 3,827 million euro from 4,121 million euro in January 2012.
