Statistics on loans serviced by Credit Servicing Firms (CSFs): Q1 2026

- In the first quarter of 2026, the nominal value of loans to the domestic private sector serviced by domestic CSFs that have been transferred to non-resident specialized financial institutions decreased by €118 million.
- The total value of the previously mentioned category of loans decreased to €79,595 million at the end of the first quarter of 2026, from €79,712 million in the previous quarter.
Corporate loans
The nominal value of serviced corporate loans decreased to €27,800 million in the first quarter of 2026, from €27,869 million in the previous quarter. In further detail, the nominal value of loans to non-financial corporations (NFCs) decreased by €40 million to €27,798 million at the end of the first quarter of 2026. Out of the total of these loans to NFCs, an amount of €9,648 million corresponds to loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The nominal value of loans to other financial institutions serviced by CSFs decreased to €1 million at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships
The nominal value of loans to sole proprietors, farmers and unincorporated partnerships serviced by CSFs decreased by €35 million from the previous quarter to €10,093 million at the end of the first quarter of 2026.
Loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions
The nominal value of loans to individuals and private non-profit institutions serviced by CSFs decreased by €13 million to €41,702 million at the end of the first quarter of 2026. In further detail, consumer loans serviced increased by €45 million to €16,242 million. The corresponding housing loans decreased by €50 million to €25,133 million.

The nominal value of loans does not include off-balance sheet interest and write-offs/write-downs made by the credit institutions that transferred the loan portfolio.
