Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-November 2025

In January-November 2025, the central government cash balance recorded a surplus of €6,449 million, compared to a surplus of €5,721 million in the same period of 2024. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €66,273 million, compared to €61,368 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €56,291 million, from €54,124 million in January-November 2024.
