Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-August 2012

In January-August 2012, the central government cash deficit decreased to 6,371 million euro, from 18,605 million euro in the corresponding period of 2011. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 30,593 million euro, from 31,095 million euro last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 36,810 million euro from 47,819 million euro in January-August 2011.
