Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-October 2022

In January-October 2022, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €6,399 million, compared to a deficit of €12,528 million in the same period of 2021. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €44,948 million, compared to €37,524 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €48,965 million, from €50,711 million in January-October 2021.
