Central Government Net Borrowing Requirement on a cash basis: January-May 2010

In the January-May 2010 period the Central Government cash deficit (net balance of the state budget including movements in public debt management accounts) decreased to 9,544 million euros from 14,628 million euros in the corresponding period of 2009. During this period, the ordinary budget revenue increased to 19,897 million euros from 18,338 million euros last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 25,257 million euros compared with 29,236 million euros in January-May 2009.
