Central Government Net Borrowing Requirement on a Cash Basis: January-July 2010

In the January-July 2010 period the Central Government cash deficit (net balance of the state budget including movements in public debt management accounts) decreased to 14,474 million euros from 21,470 million euros in the corresponding period of 2009. During this period, the ordinary budget revenue increased to 27,890 million euros from 26,779 million euros last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 37,891 million euros compared with 42,714 million euros in January-July 2009.
