Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-May 2012

In January-May 2012, the central government cash deficit decreased to 5,114 million euro, from 10,139 million euro in the corresponding period of 2011. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to 18,091 million euro, from 18,784 million euro last year. Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 23,583 million euro from 27,457 million euro in January-May 2011.
