The overview of the Greek Financial System is published twice a year.
The overview includes the assessment of the latest economic developments as well as the finding of the main factors of the systemic risks for the Greek financial system which comprise, besides banks and insurance companies, non-banking credit companies and market infrastructures. The assessment of the systemic risks provides a basic tool for the exercise of the macroprudential supervision which aims to confine the systemic risks of the financial system and complements the microprudential supervision of banks that focuses in the resilience of single institutions.
