About the book

The book is part of the educational programme “Odds or Evens. Talking about values through art” that accompanies the exhibition “Journeys in Art. Artworks from the Bank of Greece Collection” (24.5.2025-2.11.2025) at the Municipal Art Gallery of Chania.

It is meant as a tool for observation based on the experience of the exhibition, which was curated by the Art Historian Ms. Charis Kanellopoulou. Serving as an empty canvas, the book includes creative activities, open-end questions, artistic interventions, creative writing prompts, along with artworks from the exhibition and inspiring quotes. It aims at the cultivation of critical thinking, artistic sensitivity and the conscious recognition of values through art in children.
