About the book
Viomichaniki Epitheorisis is an exemplary case of a Greek publication, sustained for over half a century—from 1934 to 1990—through the unwavering efforts of its founder and publisher, Spyros A. Vovolinis.
This book is the result of meticulous research by historians Georgia M. Panselina and Christos Anastasiou in the archives of the periodical and its publisher, which were entrusted by Alexandra K. Vovolini to the Historical Archives of the Bank of Greece.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the founding of Viomichaniki Epitheorisis, the book makes effective use of documents and photos from the archives to present a narrative on the periodical’s history and key contributors, while also highlighting particular developments in Greek manufacturing.
About the series “Documents from the Historical Archives” of the Bank of Greece
