Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-November 2017

In January-November 2017, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €1,373 million, compared to a deficit of €1,423 million in the same period of 2016. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €43,167 million, compared to €43,584 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure, including expenditure of about €1,896 million for the repayment of arrears (compared to €3,380 million last year), amounted to €46,222 million, from €44,826 million in January-November 2016.
