Central government net borrowing requirement on a cash basis: January-June 2019

In January-June 2019, the central government cash balance recorded a deficit of €3,388 million, compared to a deficit of €1,878 million in the same period of 2018. During this period, ordinary budget revenue amounted to €20,890 million, compared to €21,910 million in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditure amounted to €25,773 million, from €24,368 million in January-June 2018.
